I've noticed that some of my items no longer allow to be edited by me. It seems to usually happen with books.

Edit: it doesn't appear to only be happening to books.

Hey there, there are no error messages upon logging in nor in my GHI debug event log.
When I try editing my original item it simply says I do not have permission.

Just checked. All my characters, but not all my items. Some I can still freely edit.
I can't pinpoint any specific reason seeing as all items have different functions.

Are you exporting / importing items ? I think the 'editable by owner' option is for one character only. Make sure to set that to public before exporting, and reset to private if you want.
Took me a while to figure out my workflow between characters.

yeah exports do not give you editing rights unless the checkbox for changing owner is set. But i am unsure if this is an export issue, Are you exporting Items? I had assume you just made an item and it stopped be editable.

It seems that it is now possible that guids can change. However the 6.0 patch introduces a new guid format, so hopefully this issue should be fixed. For some items it might not be fixed if the issue already happened, but for new items it should be.
