Currently we have version 0.27.1 of GHI. According to the number then GHI is still in public beta, but we have slowly slided out of that quite some time ago. I have decided to update the numbering system and make it more usefull.

The numbering format is x.y.z which is the following:
x - The major version number. A major version is a version that contains many new features. We expect to release a new major version every 3-6 months.
y - Minor version number. A minor version is a version of the addon that only contains bug fixes or small features. The minor version number is 0 when a major version is released and is 99 when for the versions preparing for a new major version.
z - Test version. As part of testing a new major or minor release, it is needed to test the addon trough several versions. This number indicate what test version it is. The test version number is 0 on a release version and is counted upwards in the following test versions.

Example:
1.0.0 - a major version
1.0.1 - first test version for 1.1.0
1.0.20 - the 20th test version for 1.1.0
1.1.0 a minor version
1.1.42 - the 42th test version for 1.2.0
1.99.1 - the 1th test version for 2.0
2.0.0 - a major version

The next version we will release for test is 0.99.1 and then when we are done with the testing we will release 1.0.0
