GHI, or Gryphonheart Items, is an addon for World of Warcraft designed for making roleplay more immersive and interactive. It allows users to create items that have no affect on the game but can be used in roleplaying scenarios to aid in creativity and fun.
How does GHI work?
In simplest terms, GHI is a macro/script maker designed to look like an in-game bag. When you create an item, you have the option to have that item do something, such as make a noise, display a message, or even make your character speak, whisper, or emote!
Is GHI legal?
GHI is perfectly legal, and does nothing more than what players can already do in-game.
Is GHI safe?
You are completely safe downloading and using GHI. The addon operates solely within WoW, and does not connect to the internet.
GHI isn't working!
When you install GHI and log into a character, make sure a blue bag icon appears on your screen. If no bag appears, make sure:
- All GHI folders are installed in your Interface/Addons folder.
- Gryphonheart Items and related addons are checked in the Addon window of your Character Selection screen.
- You have the newest stable version of GHI.
This may be caused by incompatibility with certain roleplaying addons. Try disabling these addons and trying again.
Everything is working but [feature]!
You may have downloaded the beta by mistake. Please revert to the stable version of GHI.
